The Russian major or minor focuses on the history, culture, politics, and language of one of the world’s largest countries. Language instruction is provided from introductory to advanced levels. In addition to language courses, students will complete courses in literature and culture. Our graduates go on to top graduate programs and pursue careers in communication, international relations, education, and translation.
The program offers winter and summer opportunities to study in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia. During their studies students take courses at the Russian State University for the Humanities and participate in a co-curricular cultural program. There are also semester and year long study abroad options.
