International Studies

The International Studies major examines the intersection of politics, culture, religion, economics, and history while emphasizing foreign language proficiency. Students interested in international business, international organizations, government service, international development, environmental affairs, and international communication/journalism gain a comprehensive picture of world affairs.

The curriculum includes courses in international and comparative politics, international law and organizations, national and international security, foreign policy, global economy, and languages allowing students to learn about the world and various aspects of human interaction. Students also select courses from communication, political science, religion and culture, economics, history, geography, philosophy, and sociology.
