High School Spring Break
In the interest of keeping all Hokies healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak, Virginia Tech is cancelling spring events. More information concerning this decision is available here:
High School Spring Break offers students the opportunity to participate in an Admissions information session and campus tour, learn about student life, dining, the campus experience, and what it means to be a Hokie. An Academic Information Fair is provided to discuss major options with college representatives. Each day of High School Spring Break offers the same program.
Transfer information sessions for High School Spring Break are offered on Fridays only.
For High School Spring Break programs (April 6-10 and April 13-17), parking is available in the Chicken Hill Lot. Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from this lot throughout the day from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
During these weeks, visitors parking in the Chicken Hill Lot do not need a parking permit. If you plan to move your car to central campus at any point during your visit, request a parking permit from the parking lot staff attendant. Please be advised that parking on central campus is limited and may be difficult during these weeks due to the high volume of visitors.
ATTENTION: After Spring Break, we will return to our normal schedule with daily information sessions and tours offered most Monday-Fridays and several Saturdays throughout the year.
During periods when the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is unavailable but the Visitor's Center is open, we also offer daily information session video presentations and self-guided campus tours for walk-in visitors.
