First-year and returning students living on campus can move into residence halls beginning Aug. 23. The final day for residence hall check-in is Aug. 26. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m daily.
Hokie Helpers will be available to help Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist with unloading cars to the extent possible.

Dining centers open and dining plans go into effect Aug. 23 at 7 a.m.

New this year: Dining Services has partnered with Tapingo to launch an online ordering app! By ordering food through the Tapingo Mobile App, customers can avoid waiting in line and pick up their food in the dining center once it is ready.
Anyone can download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once an account is created a customer can pay with a credit card or any of their Virginia Tech Dining Services Dining Plans.
