Associate Director, Business Development, National Capital Region
Megan serves as the Associate Director for Business Development in the National Capital Region. In this role, she engages with organizations to discover partnership opportunities with the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus and other university strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining the Virginia Tech team, Megan worked in education and IT strategy consulting. Most recently she led the Student Success Partnership team at EAB. As the Director of Business Development at the University of Richmond she managed recruiting relationships with employers and led a comprehensive strategic employer development and stewardship plan. She also served as a key leader in setting metrics for outcomes, program assessment, and evaluation.
Megan was previously an assistant director of career development at Wake Forest University School of Business. She also has industry experience working at Booz Allen Hamilton and the Corporate Executive Board. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer information systems, from James Madison University and a master’s degree in education and human development with a concentration in student affairs from The George Washington University.
