Alumni Leader Spotlight

Andrew Rose '97

President, GM Insurance; Executive Vice President, GM Financial

I have worked for large companies like DuPont, Shell, Capital One, and General Motors — and small ones — most often leading intrapreneurship efforts in an executive capacity. I am currently the president of OnStar Insurance inside of General Motors and serve as the executive vice president of GM Financial.

Outside of work, I am a husband, father, executive, and athlete. I am an avid marathon and triathlon runner having raced all around the world. I have been happily married for 22 years with three children aged 18, 16, and 13. While I started in engineering, my career quickly pivoted after earning my MBA, into financial services.
