Ryan Smith

Ryan, a senior here at Virginia Tech studying Mechanical Engineering, is originally from Roanoke Virginia. He is very interested in the defense industry and plans to become a Professional Engineer in the near future. Throughout his undergraduate years, Ryan has held a variety of leadership positions after getting his start in the Residential Leadership Community. Since then, he’s gone on to serve as the President of his fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau, and has also worked hard as Scholarship Chair tutoring his fellow peers. This leadership experience combined with his technical knowledge have prepared him for his work as a technical analyst at LINK.

When he has some down time, Ryan enjoys playing basketball and video games with his friends. He also loves to go rock climbing whenever he has the chance.
