Notice about Hokie Preview
Thank you to those of you who have registered for Hokie Preview. Our staff has been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for Blacksburg. The current report is calling for up to 13 inches of snow by Saturday night and includes the possibility of a sleet. National and local advisories call for hazardous travel conditions. For the safety of our guests, we have decided to cancel Hokie Preview.
We still want to offer an opportunity for you to visit campus and experience our community. If we are able to create another event, we will communicate directly with all Hokie Preview registrants. We will also be contacting Hokie Preview registrants in August to provide you with a priority registration opportunity for our fall open house events. You may also choose to visit us later this spring, or summer. We will be hosting two Open House events for seniors on October 13th and 14th and Nov 10th and 11th 2018 as well.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to hosting you soon.
Hokie Preview is designed specifically for high school juniors to provide a comprehensive look at life as a Virginia Tech student. We invite high school juniors and their families to visit our campus on Saturday, March 24, 2018, and learn about Virginia Tech through an admissions information session, college information session, and a campus tour. We will answer your questions about our university and how to become a Hokie!
Who may participate in Hokie Preview?
High school juniors who are considering applying to Virginia Tech.
Does Hokie Preview cost anything?
There is no cost to attend Hokie Preview.
What about lunch?
We encourage you to try one of our award-winning dining facilities available on campus. You will receive a dining guide with your packet at check-in. This guide will include more information about your dining options for the day. All of our dining facilities accept debit/credit cards and most accept cash.
Where should I park?
