Virtual BCI

Virtual BCI is for rising high school juniors

We want to make options available to see what it’s like to be a student here so we are working with campus partners to offer a growing list of virtual options and videos, so watch this page for Virtual BCI updates!

Black College Institute (Online)

Virtual Structure of the Program

As a BCI participant, you will virtually join other rising seniors in engaging workshops about the admission process, skill-building leadership experiences and more! Given the program's commitment to the African- American experience, we will continue to have a social justice component incorporated into the summer program. You will also be able to connect closely with a group of 10-12 of your peers along with two Student Staff Leaders (SSLs). SSLs are current Virginia Tech college students who will guide you throughout the program and be there for any questions you may have.

To fully participate in BCI all you need is access to the internet and a computer, laptop, or a mobile device! Stay tuned for more information to be shared in the coming weeks. In the meantime, start connecting with us on social media.
