International Public Policy

The International Public Policy major combines an academic and practical, hands-on approach to policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation at the international level with special emphasis on foreign language proficiency. Students will familiarize themselves with international policies in various issue areas, such as health, environment, development, trade, education, and labor and will learn how states and non-state actors shape public policy at the international level and how states’ domestic policies affect and are affected by it. Graduates pursue a variety of careers in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of development programs, working for governments, international and non-profit organizations, and private companies.
