What's more, over 60 percent of Virginia Tech students receive some type of financial aid. That's why we encourage every undergraduate who needs financial assistance for attending college to apply for financial aid. The only way to know whether you are eligible to receive aid is to apply.

When Should I Apply for Financial Aid?

Although you must be offered admission to Virginia Tech to be awarded need-based financial aid, you should not wait for your offer of admission to Virginia Tech to apply for financial aid.
